Not square .

I am a bit disappointed in this square. I already had one that I use in Metalworking layout and bought this to upgrade my woodworking tools. This one is slightly out of square, and the slide action is really rough compared to my other one. I inspected and cleaned it hoping that it was just dirt, but no, it is still out of square and rough, even with a different blade from my other one installed. I have other PEC Blem tools and they all work perfectly. Sad to say this one is the lemon.

Scale showed up with a defect that did affect function. I sent Customer Service a couple pictures of the issue and they replied within a couple hours. They are sending me a replacement with no questions asked. Will come back for future purchases.
