Locking Pliers

Sturdy and well constructed. I would not hesitate to add more from this collection.

Malco 7” Eagle Grip Straight Jaw Locking Pliers

They are great quality and will probably last a long time, however I would steer clear of the 10” Straight Jaw model. When I close the jaw, there is a gap between the middle lever and walls inside the handle that hold the locking screw. I’ve had the lever smack inside the wall of the handle when the jaws are fully open and trying to clamp on a surface. This has caused me to lose grip of the pliers I got a second pair thinking it was a lemon and it turns out that the other pair was the exact same way. My other locking pliers don’t have this issue, even my vintage Petersen-Dewitt pliers. Other than this issue, these pliers are far better than every other locking pliers on the market.

Best value pliers on the market

These are the best locking pliers you can find on the market.

Locking pliers go through a lot of wear and tear, and if you get cheap imports you'll find that the jaws on your locking pliers strip out after a couple of uses. If you use these things every day you'll quickly realize how important it is to have a set of good quality locking pliers.

This is the real deal

These are the real deal. They are head and shoulders better than anything on the market. I have a feeling people are going to regret not buying them.
